We all want to be healthy and look beautiful and youthful. However, there are certain things that we often do and we’re not aware how much they damage our skin and make you look older. Are YOU doing some of these?
1) Drink through a straw
Do you often drink with a straw? Do you know that it can contribute to the formation of wrinkles? The skin around the lips is straining and the lines on both sides of the mouth are getting deeper.
2) Excessive facial cleansing
Clean skin is beautiful, but washing it too frequently is not effective against aging. Water and aggressive ingredients in some products that you use for cleaning, can prevent or reduce the formation of your natural oil that keeps the skin moist. If you have dry skin, wash your face only once in the evening, and then apply a night cream. If you have oily or mixed skin, wash it in the morning and in the evening, and at the same time use a mild cleanser.
3) Head up
How often did you find yourself sitting at the desk with your chin resting on your hands? If this sounds familiar, the back and the neck pain are not the only reason to begin to sit up straight. Stretching your neck that much will stretch your skin too and create wrinkles. Equal or worse damage will make watching down and writing text messages or reading something on the screen of your mobile phone.
4) Irregular or not at all exercise
Exercise improves blood flow to the skin and so it becomes more beautiful and healthier. American experts recommend at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise at least five days per week or 25 minutes of intense aerobic activity at least three days a week. It is good for the overall health of the body, and will be reflected on your skin. Everything is acceptable – from yoga to running, because your healthy cardiovascular system will have a positive effect on your skin.
