Dental plaque is an uncolored sticky mass (biofilm) that forms on the teeth and gums, as well as on the dentures.
It can cause periodontal disease, because the bacteria in the plaque, secretes fluids that irritate the gums and its support structure.
Although it is said that it can be removed by frequent brushing, those who have tried know that this is not entirely true. But, nevertheless, there is a natural alternative and that is coconut oil.
So, a tablespoon of coconut oil is enough. Consume it every day and the plaque will disappear. Do not swallow the oil, but gurgle it in your mouth for 15 to 20 minutes, and then spit.
The coconut oil will decrease the number of harmful bacteria in the mouth and so it will prevent the buildup of plaque and remove the existing one. After gurgling brush your teeth with a toothbrush, without toothpaste.
You will notice improvement after 10 days.
