Sage Tea – The Best Ally Against Cold!

The season of colds is already here, so a lot of people are thinking how to prevent and beat the sneezing, pain and pang in the throat, without visiting a doctor. The experts of traditional medicine in such cases often recommend hot tea of elder and chamomile, and also warm milk with honey.

Thanks to specific enzymes, bee nectar can also prevent inflammation and ease pain resulting from colds, but sage tea is the real thing.

However, of all the traditional medicines, the most effective is sage tea, with which it is necessary to rinse the throat more times a day. Preferably you can simultaneously wrap your neck with a warm scarf. Sucking on candy based on sage and drinking plenty of fluids can also help.

But, if the body temperature is higher than 38.5 degrees and lasts more than 2 days, you must seek medical help.

      Well, it’s a tea, you can buy tea bags and follow the instruction on the box, but if you have dry sage, not in a tea bags, you just boil some water, pour over the sage (usually 1 tsp sage for one big cup of tea) leave it covered for 10 – 20 minutes, then drain… and the tea is ready! You can add honey, lemon or both 🙂
