If you don’t have any idea about what to prepare with macaroni, mushrooms are always, always a good choice. Combined with onion and peas, they’re excellent for lunch, dinner and they’re very easy to make.
- 500 g. pasta (macaroni)
- 1 big onion
- 400-500 g. button mushrooms
- 300 g. peas (I use frozen peas)
- olive oil
Boil one big pot with water, add a little salt and cook the macaroni as it’s said on the instruction on the package. In the middle of the cooking time, put the peas in the pan, so it can be cooked, but not too much. In a pan, heat some olive oil and add the sliced onion. Fry a little and add the mushrooms. When they start to release their own juice, remove the pan from the stove. Drain the macaroni and add the mushrooms and the onion. Sprinkle with the spices. Enjoy!
