An old Czech recipe for winter fruit tea! We should take advantage of the fruits now while we still have it in the orchards, but it can work well with frozen fruit too. The procedure is simple, and the result is awesome winter fruit drink!
– 1 kg. of sugar
– 6,5 – 8,5 oz rum
Cut all the fruit into bite-size. Put it in a deeper baking dish oven, sprinkle with sugar and spices. Stir and place in a preheated oven at 180 ° C. So bake it, in this case caramelize it for 1 hour.
Take it out of the oven, pour the rum, stir well and put the mixture into warm, sterilized jars.
Fill them to the top, close them immediately and turn them upside down.
So hold them like that until they are completely cool, or overnight.
How to drink it:
Put 2-3 tablespoons of fruit roasted tea in a big cup, pour hot water, stir and enjoy drinking this unusual hot drink.
